- Alejandro Figueroa
From his Puerto Rican roots steeped in salsa and merengue to his formal training in tap, jazz, and ballet; dance has always been a part of Alejandro’s life. Instead of a drum set, tap shoes were his favorite way to create rhythmic patterns while growing up and it has never left him. His choreography resumé began as a freshman at the US Air Force Academy in their production of The Wizard of Oz. Since then, Alejandro has choreographed numerous routines and fitness-based dances for his clients throughout his 30+ year career as a fitness professional. Locally, Alejandro has shared his dance talents as a performer and choreographer with NCCT (The Music Man, 9-5, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), We the People (Something Rotten), and Hartford HS (Curtains, and Bright Star). Alejandro is still so thankful for his mom who remains his biggest fan and stage mom. Additionally, he is forever grateful to his local friends and supporters, especially, Amy, Susan, Andrea, and Lanni, for giving him the nudge to believe that talent is in all of us and just needs a little spark to bring it out.

- 2015: When in Rome
Welcome to Ancient Rome, where the men mingle in the lives of gods and gods meddle with the lives of men! Powerful, vain Venus thinks that a beautiful mortal Psyche is stealing her thunder and curses her marrying her off to a monster but is foiled by her own son, Cupid, who pretends to be the monster and falls in love with Psyche. Prosperpine jumps at the chance to escape, but without thinking through her actions. Can love survive going to hell and back?
